Dr. Aaisha Al Balushi is a Clinical Biochemical Geneticist and CCMG board-certified specialist, with advanced fellowship training from the University of Toronto, The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). She is also MRCPCH board-certified in Pediatrics, reflecting a strong foundation in pediatric and metabolic medicine.

Dr. Al Balushi currently serves as the Head of Genetic Counseling and Education at the National Genetic Center (NGC), where she leads national initiatives in genetic counseling services, professional education, and capacity building. Her clinical and academic interests include inherited metabolic disorders, genomic diagnostics, and the integration of precision medicine into clinical practice. She is actively involved in service development, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration to advance high-quality genetic care at a national level.
