He has broad expertise in managing immunodeficiencies and Immune-dysregulation disorders, hereditary angioedema, drug and food allergies, and complex immune-mediated diseases. He has led joint clinics with respiratory, rheumatology and gastroenterology teams and works closely with emergency department, anesthetics, primary care and paediatrics.
He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals including Nature and JACI: In Practice, and developed the UK’s first drug allergy app. His innovative contributions have been recognised with national awards in UK.
Dr Elkhalifa holds leadership roles in regional and international immunology societies and serves on editorial and review boards for several journals.
