Call for Abstracts
Welcome to the Call for Abstracts for the
Oman Society of Rheumatology (OSR) Conference 2026!
We invite adult and pediatric rheumatologists, healthcare professionals, residents and fellows to submit their research abstracts and share their valuable insights with the global Rheumatology community. This is a unique opportunity to present your work, engage with leading experts, and contribute to the advancement of the field.
Submission Guidelines
Eligibility
Submissions are open to adult and pediatric rheumatologists, healthcare professionals, residents and fellows involved in Rheumatology.
We welcome the submission of original abstracts presenting new and unpublished research, encore abstracts that have been presented at other conferences but hold significant value for our audience, and late-breaking abstracts that highlight recent and highly impactful findings in the field of Rheumatology.

- Clinical Rheumatology
- Basic and Translational Research
- Imaging in Rheumatology
- Other relevant topics in Rheumatology
Submission Format
- Title: Clearly indicate the topic of your research.
- Authors: Include the names and affiliations of all contributing authors.
- Please specify the type of abstract (original, encore, or late-breaking) and the abstract category in the subject line of your submission.
- The abstract should be a maximum of 3,500 characters, including spaces. This character count excludes author names. The abstract should be structured with the following sections:
- Background
- Objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
- Include Acknowledgements (if applicable) and References.
Review Process
All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the OSR Scientific Committee.
Selection criteria include originality, relevance, scientific quality, potential impact of the findings on clinical practice or future research.
Accepted abstracts will be presented in oral or poster sessions.
Presentation Formats
Oral Presentations
Selected abstracts will be allotted 15 minutes for presentation, including a Q&A session.
Poster Presentations
Posters will be displayed in the Pre-Function Area, with dedicated session for authors to discuss their work with attendees.
