Prof. Laurent Arnaud

Laurent ARNAUD (MD, PhD) is full Professor of Rheumatology at Strasbourg University & Academic Hospitals, France. His main clinical interests focus on patient-centered care of those living with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) and other autoimmune diseases.

He is leading an international research network focusing on innovative strategies for holistic SLE care using novel diagnostic and therapeutic digital strategies. With his team at the French National Reference Center for Rare Autoimmune Diseases of Strasbourg (CRMR RESO).

Prof. Arnaud has published >300 articles in the field of rare diseases and is currently leading several international taskforces and actions for SLE.

Professor Arnaud is the Past-President of the European Lupus Society (SLEuro) and is Elected Member of the Strategic board of the European Reference Network for rare diseases ReCONNET. He is also the curator of an X account (@Lupusreference) about lupus education, followed by >19k people.
